My bridge design.
Our bridge is between a truss and an arch combined. We made it this way so it will hold more weight and not break if it were not for my group this would not of happened.

Inquiry B2.
All matter contains heat energy...heat energy is the result of the movement of the tiny particles called atoms molecules or ions in solids, liquids and gases.Heat energy can be transferred from one object to another, and transfer or flow due to the difference in temperature between the two objects is called that.
Heat can be transferred in three ways conduction, convection and radiation.
First in conduction.Conduction transfers heat by particles and getting close to each other and contacting each and other. This means conduction means it mainly happens in solids.Conduction can happen in liquids and gases but it is very unlikely. For example, if we heat a glass fishing rod and a metal fishing rod glass would burn your hand first because of conduction.
Convection transfers heat by fluid particles. These particles carry heat energy to transfer heat. This means that convection cannot happen in solids so only liquids and gases take place in convection. Example if you crack an egg in a pot and put it outside on a sunny day it will boil
because of convection.
Sadly, radiation does not happen in any states of matter.but can happen in empty spaces without any states of matter basically, nothing.Dark colours absorb the heat energy but light and shiny surfaces reflect heat energy.
